Olalla Valley Golf Course first opened for play in 1966. The course was designed by Vernon Warren
Olalla Valley Golf Course offers a woodland style golfing experience with a year round creek winding it's way around and across 7 of the 9 hill laden holes. The course reaches 6200 yards (if you play the 9 holes twice) from the back tees, yet offers more challenge in the placement of shots and the uneven lies prevalent throughout the terrain. This is a course that challenges you.
Olalla Valley rests a half mile off highway 20 just a mile outside the mill town of Toledo and 6 miles inland from the coastal town of Newport. The slightly inland location gives a little respite from the often chilly coastal winds and cool air. The course itself rests in a slight valley making the winds often predictable and the weather temperate. The course is playable year round. The clay based greens can vary from hard in the summer and soft in the winter.
Additional tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.
